About
Background: My primary educational background is in electrical engineering, however, I have also spent a considerable amount of time working within the chemical industry designing instrumentation and control systems for reactors, and other unit processes. I have held an FCC license for more than 10 years, and now enjoy the challenges of consulting as a manager of an engineering firm.
Mission: I live for the pursuit of knowledge. My career as a consultant has taught me a great deal of humility. I have been given the opportunity to work for arguable some of the most intelligent people in the world. Each an expert in their respective field. Working with these experts is a constant reminder of how much there is to know about the world around us.
The aim of this website is to share what I can of my knowledge. My hopes are that it may assist you in your endeavors and get you closer to your goals.
We have corrupted the term research to mean study and experiment and development toward selected objectives, and we have even espoused secret and classified projects. This was not the old meaning of university research. We need a new term, or the revival of a still older one, to refer to the dedicated activities of the scholar, the intensive study of special aspects of a subject for its own sake, motivated by the love of knowledge and truth. — Merle Antony Tuve (1953)
